DATACENTER TRANSFER PROJECT
Günümüz dünyasında teknolo-
jinin artık güvenlik ve
performans üzerinden ilerlediği
görülmektedir. Teknolojide
yaşanan çok hızlı değişim ve
gelişmeler doğrultusunda in-
sanların talepleri artmakta,
beklentileri, güvenlik ve
performans kapsamında çok
farklı boyutlara ulaşmaktadır.
Gelinen durum ise bu iki kavram
için şirketler arasında rekabeti
doğurmakta, kullanıcılar ise
gereksinimlerinin mümkün
olduğu kadar kısa sürede ve
pratik yollarla çözen sistemleri
tercih etmektedir.
Projenin Amacı
Türkiye Motorlu Taşıt Bürosu’nda
mevcut kullanımda olan
fiziksel sunucuların (muhasebe
programı ve Oracle hasar
operasyon programı) işletim
sisteminin eski versiyonda kalması, bakım,
yedekleme ve güvenlik gibi hizmetlerin maliyetinin
yüksek olması, felaket senaryoları gibi durumlar
göz önünde bulundurularak sistemlerin SBM
Veri Merkezi’ne taşınmasına karar verilmiştir. Bu
bağlamda 2016 yılının başında Sigorta Bilgi ve
GözetimMerkezi ve Türkiye Motorlu Taşıt Bürosu
arasında imzalanan protokol ile TMTB BT altyapı
sistemlerinin SBMVeri Merkezi’ne taşınması
projesi kararlaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca bu iki kurumun da
Türkiye Sigorta Birliği üyesi olması, TMTB Yeşilkart
Poliçe verilerinin SBM veri tabanında bulunması,
veri alışverişini sağlayan bazı web servislerin SBM
üzerinden çalışıyor olması gibi etkenlerde bu
protokolün imzalanmasında önemli faktörlerden
olmuştur.
Projenin Kazanımları
Bu projenin hedefi, uygulama ve veri tabanı
sunucularının SBMVeri Merkezi’ne aktarılması ve
mevcutta kullanılan uygulama, veri tabanı, sunucu
ve network ürünlerinin güncel versiyonlarına

In the present day, one can see
that technology proceeds now
but basing on the security and
performance requirements. In
line with the very fast changes
and developments experienced
in technology, the demands of
the humans do increase whereas,
accordingly, such demands result
in quite different dimensions
in expectations, security and
performance.
The Objective of the
Project
Considering that the operating
systems of the physical
servers presently in use by
Turkey Motor Insurance Office
(accounting program and Oracle
loss operations program) are
old versions, high costs of
maintenance, backing up and
security and insufficient disaster
scenarios etc. grounds; it is decided to transfer the
system to SBM Data Centre. Under this context,
in the beginning of 2016, Insurance Information
and Monitoring Centre (SBM) and Turkey Motor
Insurance Office (TMTB) have signed a protocol
for the project of transferring the TMTB IT
infrastructure systems to SBM Data Centre. This
protocol was also assisted by the facts that both
organizations are members of Turkey Insurance
Association, TMTB Green Card Policy data already
existing in SBM database, certain web services
enabling the data exchange operating through
SBM systems etc.
Benefits of the Project
The targets of the project are (i) to transfer the
application and database servers to SBM Data
Centre and (ii) upgrading the existing application,
database, server and network products to actual
versions i.e. increasing the performance and
efficiency of the system. Thus, as a first step, the
