Yönetim Komitesi’nden ayrılan Gökhan Karasu
yerine göreve, Mehmet Höbek atanmıştır.
Mehmet Höbek, Bilkent Üniversitesi Endüstri
Mühendisliği Bölümü'nden 1996 yılında mezun
olmuştur. 1997 yılında Hazine Müsteşarlığı’ndaki
kariyerine başlamıştır. 2002-2004 yıllarında ABD’de
işletme (MBA) yüksek lisansını tamamlamış olup,
2010-2011 yıllarında 1 yıl süreyle OECD’de sigort-
acılık ve özel emeklilik alanında çalışmış ve 2014
yılı Aralık ayında Sigortacılık Genel Müdürlüğü’nde
Mali İzleme ve GözetimDairesi Başkanı olarak atan-
mıştır. Aynı zamanda ODTÜ Uygulamalı Matematik
Enstitüsü’nde Aktüerya alanında yüksek lisansını
tamamlamıştır.
Sigorta Bilgi ve Gözetim Merkezi adına, Gökhan
Karasu’ya bugüne kadar yaptığı çalışmalarından
dolayı teşekkür eder, Mehmet Höbek'e yeni
görevinde başarılar dileriz.
Mehmet Höbek has been appointed to the position
of Gökhan Karasu who has recently resigned from
his position in the Executive Committee.
Mr. Höbek graduated from the Department of
Industrial Engineering of Bilkent University in
1996. He started his professional career at the
Undersecretariat of Treasury in 1997. He completed
his MBA in USA between 2002 and 2004, after
which he worked in the area of insurance and
private pensions funds at OEAC for a period of 1
year between 2010-2011. After this position, he was
appointed as the Head of the Financial Steering and
Monitoring Department of General Directorate
of Insurance in 2014. During this period, he also
completed his graduate degree in Actuary at the
Institute of Applied Mathematics of Middle East
Technical University.
