İş Zekası Ekibi olarak işe, SBM’deki kaynak verileri
hızlı bir şekilde sorgulayabileceğimiz bir veri ambarı
inşa etmekle başladık. Veri Ambarı Proje'sini
2016 yılı ortasında tamamladık. Böylece, SBM’de
toplanan 15 farklı ürüne ait verileri, konsolide bir
yapıda veri ambarında topladık. Elementer veHayat
Sigortacılığı için ortak veri ambarını kurduk. Her
gün sonunda veri ambarını güncelleyecek şekilde
ETL(Veri aktarımı) işlerini geliştirdik.
Veri ambarı projesinden sonra, Self-Servis İş Zekası
Proje'sine başladık. Temel proje hedeflerimizden
bahsedersek;
• Raporlama boyutlarını ve metriklerini anlatan,
sektör genelinde ortak bir dilin oluşmasına
katkı sağlayacak Sigortacılık İş Zekası Veri
Sözlüğü’nün hazırlanması,
• Kullanıcıların kendi raporlarını kendilerinin
hazırlayabileceği modellerin tasarlanması,
• SBM raporlama sistemindeki hazır raporların
ortak bir şablon ile yeniden geliştirilmesi,
kurumsal bir raporlama arayüzünün
oluşturulması,
• İş Zekası yazılım altyapısı güncellenmesi,
• İş Zekası kullanıcılarının yeni yapı ile ilgili
bilgilendirilmesi ve eğitilmesi.
Elementer ve Hayat Sigortacılığı için yaklaşık
30 boyut ve 60 KPI tanımı yapılarak dokümante
edildikten sonra, kullandığımız İş Zekası ürünü
(IBM Cognos 11) üzerinde modelleri tasarladık.
Hem bellek-içi çalışabilen hem de veri tabanı
üzerinden sorgulamaya imkan veren Cognos ürün
ailesi içerisindeki Dynamic Cubes teknolojisini
kullanmaya karar verdik.
So, first we have started implementing a data
warehouse by which we couldmake fast queries on
the collected data at SBM. We completed the data
warehouse project inmid 2016. By thisway, the data
related to 15 different products gathered at SBM,
became consolidated in the data warehouse. We
built a common data warehouse for Elementary
and Life Insurance branches and developed ETL
(data transfer) jobs allowing us to update the data
warehouse at the end of every day.
After the data warehouse project, we have started
Self-Service Business Intelligence Project. We can
summarize our main project goals as follows:
• Documentation of a Business Intelligence
Data Dictionary that will contribute to set
a common language to be used across the
sector and describes reporting dimensions and
metrics.
• Designing models that allow users to prepare
their own reports.
• Re-development of the report templates in
the SBM reporting system using a common
template, development of an enterprise
reporting interface.
• Updating the Business Intelligence software
infrastructure to a new version.
• Informing and training the Business
Intelligence users about the new world.
After 30 dimensions and 60 KPI definitions
were created for Elementary and Life Insurance
branches, we designed the models on the Business
Intelligenceproduct (IBMCognos 11)weuse.Cognos
product family allows in-memory operation and
allows inquiries on the database and we decided to
use the Dynamic Cubes technology located inside
the Cognos product family.
